I am married and we have six grown adult children and 11…and counting Grandchildren. We also have three rescue dogs. We have built our forever home in Buckman, MN.
I went to college for Early Childhood Education and couldn’t wait to start teaching. I have taught for over 20+ years. I am so excited to be a part of this Awesome team. I look forward to being an important part of all the children’s lives!
I love to do crafts, camping, fishing, 4 wheel, snowmobile, and anything outdoors. I am also an avid “thrift” shopper, and love deals! A few of my favorite things: Colors: Yellow, Blue, Red. Season, Autumn. Candy, Chocolate, and Photography, and having family time!

Hi, I’m Stacey! I grew up in the small town of Bowlus, Minnesota with my mom & dad…Yep that’s right I am an only child! I knew from all my experiences of watching children growing up that I wanted to influence and teach children. I love being able to give them stability, a safe environment and lots of love.
I attended and graduated from Royalton High School. My college career started at St. Cloud State University then I went on to graduate from St. Cloud Technical College with my AAS Degree in Child & Adult Care and Education. I was very fortunate that right after college graduation I got my job at Edu-Care!!! Yep, been here over 17 years!
I’m also married to a wonderful man Chad for 16 years. We just recently built a home on 10 acres of wood outside of St. Joe. I enjoy spending time with my husband and mom, reading, traveling, and shopping antique/flea markets. A few of my favorites: Restaurant, Applebees. Sports to watch, Hockey/Football. Color, Camo…if that counts. Food, Turtle Cheesecake.
Hi! My name is Kayla! I am originally from Massachusetts and moved to Minnesota 5 years ago. I love it here! Since moving to Minnesota I have worked in multiple childcare programs. I have been working with children since I was 16 years old. I just graduated from St. Cloud State University with a degree in Community Psychology.
I love working with children of all ages and their families. I have always had a passion for working with children. I think it is because I am one of the oldest of 31 grandchildren! It is truly amazing to watch children learn and grow. I love to help teach them new skills and develop the love of learning!
I will enjoy each day with the EDU-CARE children. I can't wait to teach them and help them with their educational goals and milestones. I am looking forward to my time at EDU-CARE as the new teacher!
Hello! My name is Alexandra, but I like to be called Allie for short. I am a graduate of St. Cloud Technical and Community College in the Child/Adult Care and Education Paraprofessional Program.
When I was growing up my mom had her own daycare. I loved being able to help her out with kids. Once I grew up and thought about what it was I wanted to do career wise, I knew I wanted to work with children!
I truly enjoy working with children, teaching them new things, encouraging them to try and explore new experiences on their own, and watching them grow as individuals.
Hi, my name is Karen! I am originally from Paynesville, Minnesota. During my senior year and following graduation I was able to work at a couple day care centers. I knew from that experience I wanted to work with children.
I moved to St. Cloud and enrolled at the St. Cloud Technical College in their Developmental Needs Assistance Program. I began working at Edu-Care in March of 2000! While being here I have been able to float around and get to work in and experience all of the age groups.
When I work with the babies I love watching them grow and change and explore all the new experiences to them. The toddlers I enjoy helping them to learn their ABC’s, numbers, colors and shapes. With the pre-schoolers, I love watching them move on to learning how to write their letters and name. I also really like to read stories to all the kids!
